This is Belvy.
I am going to say about how I felt before this PCIP.
Here I go.
Pre-reflection:
I thought this PCIP was a piece of cake and nothing would be too difficult.
I never expect us to meet any problems.
But I hoped to gain something from this PCIP.
That was to bond and understand my new classmates.
I didn't expect the difficulties that we may face would be too difficult to solve.
Hence, I had the mindset of get-it-over-and-done-with type of thinking.
Post-activity:
I learnt that bonding was not as easy.
We all have different likes and dislikes.
We have different time schedules so it was difficult to fix a day and go down together.
Also, there were many walls that we had to paint.
Time was another challenge.
We tried to meet the deadline.
But many people were reluctant to come down and paint.
Hence, with a small group to complete that many pieces of wall was a setback.
Another difficulty was the weather.
If it was raining that day, we cannot paint.
The paint would be washed off.
And that happened.
We were painting half way when suddenly a heavy downpour came.
The rain smudged all the paint on that wall.
As though making the paint smudge wasn't enough, the paint dripped onto the floor, we had to make sure the paint stain was gone.
These setbacks did make us disappointed and angry but we persevered on.
Through this CIP, I learnt many things.
Teamwork to cooperate with one another is important to complete a task.
Perseverance and determination to challenge against the weather to meet the deadline.
